How we work with brands
We take on ambitious Shopify projects — the ones that need more than a template theme and a checklist — but we don't treat ambition as an excuse to cut corners. Every build we ship has to hold up under real order volume, not just look good in a demo. We'd rather tell a client a timeline is unrealistic than quietly let scope slip and call it done anyway.
Design and engineering aren't separate phases for us — a store has to look right and perform, and we treat those as the same problem. That means design decisions get made with conversion, page speed, and maintainability in mind from the start, not bolted on after the fact. We care about craft, but craft that doesn't serve the business isn't the goal.
We try to say what we actually mean. If something's a good fit, we'll say so plainly; if it isn't, we'd rather tell you early than stretch a sales pitch to fit. We'd rather earn trust over a long engagement than oversell a first conversation.
What we focus on
Shopify commerce design & development is the core of what we do — new store builds, platform migrations, B2B storefronts, and custom functionality for merchants who've outgrown off-the-shelf solutions.
Shopify apps & merchant technology is our second focus — we build and maintain apps that solve problems we kept seeing across client stores, tested on our own projects before they ever reach the App Store.
Brand and design expertise supports everything above it — we bring design thinking to every engagement, but always in service of a commerce outcome, not as a standalone deliverable.
